FCAT SCIENCE TIPS

• FCAT is multiple choice. Begin by crossing out any answer choices that are clearly wrong, then choose from what is left over.
• Read the questions closely. There will usually be two answer choices that seem correct, but only one is.
• Don’t overcomplicate. FCAT questions will ask you exactly what they want to know.
• Remember that these tests are designed to show school systems what they are doing correct, and where they are falling behind.
